Sainik School Korukonda is one of the iconic institutions of not only Andhra Pradesh but also India with a glorious heritage and remarkable scholastic achievements. It is one of the premier educational institutions in the country imparting military motivation and all round education to students.
The mission of the school is to prepare the cadets academically, physically and mentally to enter the portals of the National Defence Academy and other officer training academies. It sent its first batch of cadets to NDA in 1962 and since then the school has sent more than 600 students to the Defence Services of India as commissioned officers. The school has also contributed brilliant professionals in almost every field including civil services, police, medical, engineering, IT and business sectors.

The association is deeply involved in a number of socially relevant and beneficial projects. Project Krushi; a home for children in difficult circumstances, is the flagship project undertaken by the Association.. We also provide direct assistance to a number of rural govt schools with additional staff, infrastructure and educational facilities and material.

Through its three chapters the association extends health care initiatives to rural and urban poor in major cities of AP. The association conducts regular tree plantation drives, environmental awareness programs, blood and organ donation camps etc.  Through the association the alumni of this great institution conveys its sincere gratitude and returns to the society what it imbibed in the school; a sense of responsibility, concern and compassion.
